Escondido Public Library - First Thursday Concerts

The First Thursday Concert Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Escondido Library and is free and open to the public. No reservations are required but attendees should arrive early for best seating. All concerts are from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m. in the Turrentine Room of the Main Library.

Catchy pop, folk, rock songs sung by duo. Internationally known Barry CAHILL & DELENE St. Clair are husband and wife team of singer-songwriter-musicians who compose and perform a varied and intricate tapestry of musical styles. Breaking boundaries of genre, their performances are provocative, inspiring, and fun! Their debut CD, "Songs For Humanity", has received consistent praise from the San Diego music press. Delene plays guitar and Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer, while Cahill performs on keyboard, saxes, flute, and Native American Flute. They'll take the audience from toe- tappin', hand-clappin' bluegrass to gentle jazz and Celtic music! Both Cahill & Delene are also accomplished vocalists. Besides their original music, CAHILL & DELENE are well known for their "cover tunes" band �Hot Pursuit�, performing for events all over the U.S.
