Meeting Rooms

Meeting Room Policies

All meetings must be open to the general public and free of charge; no sales or fund raisers are permitted.

Programs or seminars for the public conducted by profit-making businesses must be educational in nature and may not specifically promote the sponsoring organization.

All meetings and programs must be held during the hours the library is open. See library hours.

How to Reserve a Room

An application and further information may be obtained from the library's administrative office during regular weekday business hours.  Call 760-839-4601 or stop by. 

Or you may download and print an application and turn it in to our administrative office in person.


The Escondido Public Library has two meeting rooms which are available for use by community groups and organizations. 

Turrentine Room

This room seats up to 160 people, auditorium style.  Other setups are available, plus video and DVD projection, computer projection, and kitchen facilities.  We regret that high demand precludes us from booking this room for regular classes or meetings, but we can book for a limited series.  The Turrentine Room may be scheduled a maximum of four times in one year by any one organization.

Board Room

This room holds up to 20 and has no kitchen or projection capability.  At this time, we are not accepting new users in this room.  Recurring monthly meetings may be accommodated in this room, depending on availability.
