19. Lime Street School/Grape Day Park
1910:
The red brick Lime Street School, built along side the Escondido Creek
in 1886, also served as the early day community center. The Escondido
Historical Society operates Grape Day Park.Today the park houses the
first Public Library, the old train depot and other historic
buildings that were moved into the park.
