25. Hog Back: The shape of the crested
ridgeline with abrupt sloping sides reminded pioneers of the razor back
hogs that ran wild in the hills southward from Palomar Mountain and
through Rancho Guejito. Today homes nestle in avocado groves which grow
on the former sage brush bristled Hogback.
