40. Teepee: A.L. Houghtelin built this landmark in 1929. He had planned a unique showplace for his treasured Indian relics. The project was halted by the Great Depression, and before his financial recovery, Houghtelin died. A 100-mile wind demolished the teepee on December 20, 1972.
