Citing an article from a database
Citing an article you found in a database is easy because it is usually already done for you. Just look near the top or bottom of the article for information about how to cite the article.
Example:
This article about Stephen King in the library's Gale Biography Resource
Center gave the following citation to be used in a student or
researcher's bibliography:
"Stephen (Edwin) King." Contemporary Novelists, 7th ed. St. James Press, 2001.
Reproduced in Biography Resource Center. Farmington Hills, Mich.: Thomson Gale. 2006. http://galenet.galegroup.com/servlet/BioRC
Notice that the citation says that the article was reproduced in the Biography Resource Center database.
