The
Memoirs of Cleopatra
by Margaret George

A rather long novel (963 pages) about Cleopatra the VII. From her
beginning to end. The book is written in her point of view making it
even more entertaining. For the people who are fascinated with Egypt
and her Queens and Pharaohs. This book is rather advanced for most
people but it is a really great read.

Lord of the Flies
by William Golding

In order to fully understand Golding's, Lord of the Flies,
one must first understand the purpose of the book. Golding
viewed society as a barely tolerable veil to cover the natural evil
that is inside everyone, even helpless little kids. And while
reading about Piggy getting smashed or any of the other kids getting
murdered may be a little disturbing, the main point is that when man
is isolated from society and civilization as the children in Lord of
the Flies where, they turn back to their naturally evil nature.
Whether kids would really kill each other if stranded on a deserted
island is something I truly doubt though (I guess it depends on who
they are...)

Flowers
for Algernon
by Daniel Keyes

Flowers for Algernon was one of the greatest books I have ever
read. It is about a mentally-challenged man named Charlie.
He tries to get smart at a night school for adults. The
teacher, Miss Kinnian, volunteers him for a brain experiment that
was supposed to triple his IQ. The doctors that were supposed
to do the operation first tested the procedure to a mouse named
Algernon. The mouse was very smart. The doctors saw no
harm in the operation, so they did the operation on Charlie.
After a while, Algernon starts acting very weird and dies suddenly.
Charlie does a study to why it happened. At the end of the
book, Charlie's mental capability decreases and he becomes the same
as he was in the beginning of the story.

The Eyes of the Dragon
by Stephen King

Although this book did not receive a #1 Bestseller like all the
other Stephen King books, it does not stop The Eyes of the Dragon
from being one of King's great works of art. The story is
mostly fantasy but is spiced with King's gruesome detail.
The Eyes of the Dragon was written for his daughter, Naomi, and
I am happy to say that he did an outstanding job writing this
mysterious story. The plot is wonderful and a hell of a lot
evil at the same time. The plot is wonderful and a hell of a

Salem's Lot
by Stephen King

You are looking at one of Stephen King's most suspenseful and
horrific reads. Sure at the beginning the voice seems to drone
on forever and sometimes you wonder if this really is Stephen King.
Then suddenly the fear grabs your throat and begins to choke you
with the power of horror. Only then does it occur to you theis
horror work can only be written by the world's best horror writer
there ever was. If you love King novels, you certainly DO NOT
want to miss this book. In the end it will even lead you to
believe that you are paranoid and that somehow vampires are for
real.
